#Bahrain #Birds The loneliest bird in the Eastern Paleartic (population of one) arrived in the spring of 2024, and amazingly, it is still here. The Black Heron, an African species, is surviving well in the tidal pools at the rear of Sanad Mangrove.

#Bahrain #Birds: The influx of Pied Kingfishers continues, with the total now standing at 18; normally, it's one or occasionally two. They have been found in a variety of habitats, from coastal mangroves to golf course lakes.
