In the process all that time ago, I was also one of the cofounders of my high school’s gay-straight alliance club, I marched in parades and spoke at rallies, and I did bring my very cute boyfriend to my senior prom. All in the late 90s. So I’m actually pretty proud of that whole part of my life.

My favorite group was the family where everyone — baby to grandparents — was dressed up as a cow. 😅
