We weren’t meant to thrive in a fast paced work environment we were meant to collect berries in the summertime and lie down for a whole day after mistaking the bad orange mushroom for the good orange mushroom

Opened the garage and a fledgling immediately crash landed inside. Learning to fly is hard, but so was getting this fella back outdoors😅

As avian flu continues to kill birds worldwide, @calfalcons.bsky.social says the disease "is hitting peregrines very hard right now,” and is likely why UC Berkeley’s resident falcon, Annie, and her mate, Archie, haven’t been seen on campus in nearly two months. news.berkeley.edu/2025/02/24/u...

“showing people real things matters”!!!!!!
I really feel like I'm losing my mind saying on repeat that accuracy matters, & showing people real things matters. A lot of the people I talk with on here are also losing it for art theft reasons. It's pissing off scientists, artists, and the continuum of people in between. I am a ball of rage.

Hi, I’m Lindsay! I’m an interpretive biologist teaching kiddos about nature in Northern Colorado.

I’m also big on encouraging women to embrace being multi-faceted! Traditionally feminine interests don’t limit us from enjoying or excelling at other things, like being outdoorsy🙂

Nice to meet you!

Starting my own social network. Beetly. We gather under a mossy log and tell stories to each other in the damp and the dark. Sometimes, we scuttle out to eat fungus, then head back in (this is a feed).
