Spent the last four days in bed with Covid, but Jerri took great care of me and I read 2 novels, each in pretty much one sitting. Feeling much better, and so far no one else go it, so I can't complain.

They were funny, respected, well-loved activists. They were rightfully scared about what COVID could do to them. They were “the vulnerable”—chronically ill Black women who needed $$ for healthcare costs—the government wanted, and wants, us to find acceptable to abandon. They knew what was happening.
