MnDOT brings its ‘Name a Snowplow’ contest back for a 6th season
Past winning names have included Plowy McPlowFace, We’re Off To See The Blizzard and Don’tcha Snow. Submissions will be accepted through Dec. 19.

#mspcyclecast it’s snowing pretty hard, some things are cleared but you really shouldn’t be out there and if it’s too bad for bikes it’s DEFINITELY too bad for cars.

Reminder that drivers going slow and roads getting clogged is a sign Minnesotans DO know how to drive in snow. Stopping distances are increased and road capacity decreases.

Encountered THREE (3!) public works vehicles in the Blaisdell Ave bike lane this AM. All doing work - 2 plows and a salter - seems excessive but I guess I shouldn’t complain. Did you know public works owns a Jeep Wrangler?

Had to do the walk of shame into my LBS with a failed bearing replacement but the tech did validate my confusion when they said “yeah you need two IDENTICAL cone wrenches to service this”. Ain’t nobody got multiple identical cone wrenches!!
