Perhaps now people will stop wishcasting about the US military refusing illegal orders. That's not a thing that happens. The 100% compliance rate with using civilian boats for target practice was a bit of a tell.

Didn’t the last republican president commit regime change over seas over oil using a bogus cover story too?

Can't help but feel like this is one of the reasons why the Constitution says If a dude in office does an insurrection, don't let that motherfucker hold office again

Bc clearly they cannot be trusted with power & control over the levers of government, & they do not care about democratic constraints

Trump's bombing of Venezuela, kidnapping of Maduro & attempt to run the country are brazen violations of our Constitution & int'l law.

It will endanger US lives, destabilize the region, & cost us billions of dollars.

Congress must stop this endless war & hold Trump accountable.

Rubio is claiming that they did not need Congress permission because it was a law enforcement mission. The US is behaving as a global police state, extending its own arbitrary legal decisions to the whole world.

This is not a problem just for Venezuela.

I hate to say it but she’s right
We are a rogue state, run by a dictator, and the international community should treat us as such including all appropriate economic and diplomatic sanctions

You should be embarrassed to be a member of congress and issuing anything other than impeachment resolutions. You're in the model UN. They should give you legos and a propeller hat

It's an old and obvious pattern. An unpopular president - failing on the economy and losing his grip on power at home - decides to launch a war for regime change abroad.

The American people don’t want to “run” a foreign country while our leaders fail to improve life in this one.

Everything this administration does is either 1) an act of favoritism towards their allies and donors or 2) an act of malicious intent toward the non-billionaire classes of the people or 3) both.

Once again the POTUS has shown himself to be dishonest and untrustworthy . Only absolute fools would ever believe Trump’s word is worth more than used toilet paper.

Leave it to republicans to make feeding the poor and working poor political.

Basically anything that involves doing good for needy people they’re against.

Yet, somehow they have the audacity to claim to follow Jesus.

Maybe they don’t know being a Christian means following Christ examples
