3. Leadership is about doing what is necessary, not just what is popular. Read literally anything our founders wrote about virtue, and the inherent risks to a society based on democratic processes to sustain the rule of law to the extent that unvirtuous people gain power.

public opinion is simply more nuanced than what can be expressed in issue polls. and voters think about broad issues in a number of different ways. there are ways to fight on immigration that do help trump. but there are also ways to fight on it that hurt him.

Listen, we need to recognize the back to office push as part of the revolt to reestablish hierarchies that has given us everything bad that has happened in the world since roughly May 2023. Liberals should not be aiding nor abetting this revolt in any way.
