Senate Judiciary Committee Republicans voted to advance the nomination of Kash Patel for FBI Director (all Dems voted no).

I'd say it's despite Patel's intent to change FBI from law enforcement to political retribution and partisan loyalty enforcement, but that's apparently what GOP Senators want.
