It's so fucking rich to write an article about "misinformation" on this issue when the entire anti-trans narrative — large numbers of kids are getting hormones and surgeries without assessment — is misinformation. Numerous state- and national-level reviews have failed to find a shred of evidence!

I think the ban on trans people in the military is bad solely because state-sanctioned discrimination is bad. I don't care if discharging trans soldiers wastes resources or whatever. The entire US military is a waste of resources. Polluting the earth and committing war crimes to uphold capitalism

A lot of people feel powerless and a lot of men cope by exorting power over women, and they blame their problems on women instead of recognizing the ruling class as the issue.

Btw men don't need to express their emotions in the crying sense. They need to talk about their emotions. They need to confront their emotions. They need to investigate what the source of their emotions is. A lot of men are angry and looking for someone to blame.

Pretty sure that @riotlinguist.bsky.social is correct in asserting that the core anxiety of a patriarchal society "in crisis" is the unacknowledged yet implicitly understood truth: boys are Not Men, and Manhood is not anatomical destiny, but something to impose, mold ... groom boys into.

Thinking about how Jarvis & Jordan said the Sad Boyz audience is majority female and they want to attract more male viewers because they know the most popular podcasts amoung young men are really horrible role models.
