I would just like to say: Catholics were the original anti-abortion voters. Anti-abortion was a Catholic issue long before white evangelicals gave a fuck about it. AND STILL the Catholic Church knows how to call out the “sin of empathy” bs and immigrant hate. WHITE PROTESTANTS TAKE NOTE!

A coalition of 14 news organizations on Tuesday asked the federal judge overseeing the lawsuit of the Maryland resident who was mistakenly deported to El Salvador to unseal records of the proceedings surrounding efforts to return him to the United States.
