This really is the far right playbook. Cops stand aside and let right wing assholes beat protestors. This is similar to letting right wing assholes drive through left wing protests but on a larger scale.

UPDATE: More than 40 protesters were arrested on OSU’s campus last night.
According to a faculty member, the Columbus Police have destroyed the encampment on Ohio State’s campus. At least 10 people were arrested. Cops got very aggressive — something the department is notorious for — and, at one point, a Muslim woman’s hijab was ripped off while she was being arrested.

When we give Tiktok too much credit for shaping young Americans' conversations, we're doing a disservice to young Americans' own experiences and agency.
9/11 was 23 years ago. Young Americans grew up seeing the cracks in the empire. They'd be talking about the SAME things on WHATEVER app they chose
