They don't have to reintroduce slavery. It never ended. It only got shunted into prison labor. This is why certain ethnic minorities are overrepresented in the prison system. It's never been about who is actually guilty of crimes, it's been about who can be labeled as criminal and forgotten about.

The House has chosen not to work and is withholding the swearing-in of newly elected Democrat Adelita Grijalva. She still hasn’t been seated, and it definitely feels intentional since her signature would provide the last vote needed to force the release of the Epstein files.
