Hey friends! I did a TEDx talk and it's now up on the TED Conferences YouTube. It's possibly the best and most important talk I've ever done.

I would ask that you watch it, and please SHARE it broadly and widely. Thank you! youtu.be/dVG8W-0p6vg #AI #Tech #TED

Knowledge is knowing tomato is a fruit. 🍅

Wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad.

David Friedman conducted an interview with me for his newsletter "Ironic Sans". It was great talking about why I love doing #StarTrek research so much! Thank you David for giving me the opportunity! 🖖

This shows the true power of open. Skylord123 didn’t need permission from Home Assistant or Pebble to make and publish this app. A 10 year old watch is now talking to state of the art voice assistants via Home Assistant.

Open technologies for the win.
Someone made a @home-assistant.io app for Pebble that supports the Home Assistant voice assistant ?! 🤯 github.com/skylord123/p...

The folks behind the “State of …” surveys have a new one, and there are zero questions about coding! Instead, the focus is on us. ✨

The questions are about developer interests, health, work preferences, stuff like that. I’m *super* keen to see the results!

You can take the survey here:

There is absolutely no world in which this is a "setting"

What ontological universe is Apple living in? If only we had some existing design pattern like "notifications" or "banners" to show users what's new??
