People who enter the U.S. illegally do so largely to find work and to make a better life for their families. Such work is often provided by U.S. citizens who take advantage of this cheap labor, often for greater profits. It's against the law to knowingly employ someone who is here illegally.

Decency, knowledge, and hope matter. Strength and technology should be their servants. We’ve only had a few leaders realize this.
I continue to be deeply moved by this statement to the heavens by President Carter.
