I’m increasingly convinced by the argument China’s decade-long investment to reduce its dependence on fossil fuels, and particularly imports, is not only creating a new electrified model that other South countries can benefit from, but is leaving the West behind because it can’t ditch fossil fuels.

Pistons deserved to win these last two games but you gotta be able to protect a lead. Up 10 with 5:00 in each game and lost. KAT and Brunson were ruthless. Our young injured team kept it close but not enough. Let’s see if they can fight one out in NY

The whole thing is important, but listen until the end: the US depends a lot on the flow of capital into the country because it is perceived as the safest port in a storm. Once that is no longer true, a lot of things Americans take for granted go away.

The AI bubble was inflated based on the idea that we need bigger models that both are trained and run on bigger and even larger GPUs. A company came along that has undermined the narrative - ways both substantive and questionable - and now the market panicked that $200bn got wasted on AI capex
