I care less about Signal chats and more about the blacksite offshore concentration camps we're sending random people to without any semblance of a trial, so I'll be interested to see if the national media can rub their bellies and pat their heads at the same time this week. Historically they can't.

“They do these things to try to get people all excited, meanwhile they’re trying to cut Social Security and Medicaid and give tax cuts to the rich. The big issue is, how are the things they're doing going to affect people's lives?”

Did you know? The word “trumpery” appeared in the 15th century with the meanings “deceit” or “fraud”. 100 years later, it was being applied to objects of little or no value. Then in the 1900’s, it came to mean “showy but worthless”. — Today, it is equated with “fascist shit”.

Sending up gratitude for the judges AND, more importantly, the lawyers who are willing to fight for the rule of law.
As of Friday, there have been 46 cases in which federal judges have blocked Trump policies.

The rulings in those cases have come from 39 different judges appointed by 5 different presidents (of both parties) to 11 different district courts across 7 different circuits.

Maybe it's not the judges?

Another of the many blatantly illegal actions this Administration is undertaking.

If Congressional Repubs were serious about upholding their oaths to "support and defend the Constitution" they'd be calling this out, launching inquiries, and refusing to confirm these criminals.
Donald Trump's Trump Media gifted 25,946 shares of the company stock to his nominee for FBI director, Kash Patel.

The same amount of shares were also gifted to Linda McMahon, his pick for Education Secretary, and other members of the board of directors.

This shouldn't be legal.

I’m trying, and I hope other people will try, to hold onto the simple notion that a US president cannot simply declare a federal law that was passed last year and literally upheld this week to be a nullity—even if it’s a not-so-hot law. The Congress is the body that can amend or repeal federal laws.
