🚨🚨🚨 I cannot stress enough how incredibly dangerous this is!!! Courts are slow but they are just now building cases that will likely lead to holding the administration in contempt and this language is designed to keep them from being able to enforce it!!!! This is an ALL HANDS ON DECK EMERGENCY!!🚨🚨🚨
Apparently the House budget bill *still* includes language aimed at barring federal court enforcement of most contempt findings. I wrote May 9 about how this not only seeks to get Trump agencies off the hook for recent misconduct, but imperils a wide range of vital legal and constitutional rights.

My mom died when I was four and our dad, a former Navy Seabee, was an alcoholic. Our aunt took us in, adopted us and received SS payments for my sister and I until we each reached 18. Yes, Jeanine can go fuck herself.
My 10 year old sister and I got Social Security payments after my father died from exposure to Agent Orange. It helped my widowed mom when the family lost his income. He paid into it his whole life. They even took it from his check while he was serving in Vietnam. Jeanine can go fuck herself.

The administration is removing phone support for Soc Security recipients. Making it more difficult for seniors to get their checks. It’s a back door way to cut SS benefits. Horrific.
