Physical books never stopped being in fashion, even with younger readers. I strongly suspect this is in no small part due to books being a common gift, and now Romantasy is getting buyers used to pretty editions with endpapers and sprayed edges.

If you're considering taking part in a week long boycott of all Amazon things, including Twitch, please think about supporting your favourite streamers in other ways. A lot of content creators have patreon, kofi, and other support methods which generally give a better payout than Twitch!

I concede that on one level the ‘Gulf of America’ idiocy is just a toddler screaming in his sandbox. On another, I wrote a novel 35 years ago, TIGANA, about how tyrants erase (or try to) names, history, art to consolidate their control of people.
