Seeing The Fellowship of the Ring in a theater. Nobody got up the whole time, we were spellbound. And long movies were not the norm back then.
Raising the always fun question: What are your most memorable theater-going experiences?

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.
It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

Sir, do you have any idea what percentage of a regular person's paycheck goes toward their employee-sponsored health insurance? I for one would be happy to pay into a system that actually allows everybody to receive care.
R U ok with paying 8 to 12 pct more in taxes and possibly losing your standard deduction ?

R U ok with losing access to different curative medications and care because the government can't afford to pay for them, even after taxing all the billionaires 90 pct?
