The problem with the "biological definition of gender" (other than biologically speaking it doesn't make sense) is that ignores the psychology of it all. It is literally the same thing as saying "we back the biological definition of personality, consciousness, memory, sexuality.

Donald Trump says he is ‘not joking’ over possible third term – US politics live
President tells NBC ‘there are methods’ in securing a third term despite constitutional barriers Immigration remains a strength for Donald Trump, but his handling of tariffs is getting more negative feedback, according to a poll from the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research. About half of US adults approve of Trump’s approach to immigration, the survey shows, but only about 4 in 10 have a positive view of the way he’s handling the economy and trade negotiations. The poll indicates that many Americans are still on board with Trump’s efforts to ramp up deportations and restrict immigration. But it also suggests that the Republican president’s threats to impose tariffs — which have been accompanied by tumbling consumer confidence and wild stock market swings — might be erasing his advantage on another issue that he made central to his winning 2024 campaign. The economy was a drag on then-President Joe Biden, who saw the share of Americans who approved of his handling of the economy fall to a low of roughly 3 in 10 in 2023. Trump drew considerable strength in November from voters who prioritized the economy, but just before he took office in January, an AP-NORC poll found that few Americans had high confidence that he’d make progress on lowering prices in his first year. Views of Trump’s job performance overall are more negative than positive, the survey found. About 4 in 10 US adults approve of the way Trump is handling his job as president, and more than half disapprove. Wall Street is set to join the global sell-off when trading begins in around two hours. Hopes that this week’s reciprocal tariffs would not be as harsh as feared were dashed over the weekend after US President Trump doubled down on his pursuit of using import levies to ‘make America great again’. With just a couple of days to go until the White House outlines the details of the reciprocal tariffs – the broadest set of restrictions yet to be unveiled by the Trump administration – there is a growing sense of panic in the markets about the scale and implications of the April 2 announcement. I think this is the closest many of us have ever got to seeing the real Trump. The only consistent thread in his entire unhinged rant was the love & praise for Vladimir Putin. Zelensky has more courage & dignity in his little finger than every member of Trump's regime & fan club combined.

The Putin puppet, Trump, is using the war to profiteer by gaining access to natural resources whilst not providing any tangible security guarantees because he isn't going to do anything once he has those resources. Russia can invade, america profits and that's it. He doesn't care about the war.

Money has no inherent value.

Money is a socially constructed simulacrum representing access to resources.

When you see billionaires sitting on all their money they are actually sitting on food, healthcare, shelter and other resources.

Capitalism does not want you to succeed.

My Paternal Grandfather wrote a letter to my Paternal Grandmother.

In it he claims that Hitler is only bluffing about his rhetoric of invading Poland. That he was just an eccentric politician but didn't mean anything he was threatening.

The next letter I read he was shelter during an air-raid.

Justin Welby believes that he is not personally responsible for the abuse that has taken place under his time as Archbishop - evidencing that the heads of Churches continue to not think it is their responsibility to protect children and vulnerable people who seek safety and guidance from them.

If the farmers demonstration was supposed to convince me that they'll be hugely impacted by the inheritance tax then they shouldn't have all worn their nicest designer clothes.

They should probably get on vinted and cancel their netflix accounts.

Surely this targeting of an award winning journalist is something the police *have* to take seriously?

How can Apple and Google keep this app in their store if posts like this aren’t moderated?

I had a dream last night where there was a lightning storm at ground level rolling through city streets - it killed everyone in the street but I survived because I was in a car.

I tried to warn others but everyone else in the city was calm.

Was pretty terrifying.
