They'll also sometimes cancel morning lobby, replacing it with ministerial press confs, restricting oppo for questions for many orgs.

Lots of 'evil or incompetent' debate about Labour. But stuff like this, where all it has to do is tap a ball into an empty net and it still can't manage it, argues powerfully for incompetence.
Frustrating to see Labour Government is following a similar trend to the previous government and delaying/blocking release of information on PPE VIP Lane.

Not a serious response - obviously the UK got "something in return" (access to the programme) and it's not a "blank cheque" (the amount of the UK contribution has been negotiated). Several other non-EU countries are associated with Erasmus, so it hardly necessarily entails rejoining the EU.
And now the CON response on this

Also a bit perfunctory (note Badenoch didn't go for it in PMQs), but evident that the cost argument is going to be a key part of on-going critique

This has been a recurring issue for years. Question is why does Edinburgh Council provide free parking, but not also free public transport on these dates? Or at least use the revenue from parking charges on these dates to fund free buses and trams?
There are three parking holidays over the festive period. Christmas Day (25 December), Boxing Day (26 December) and New Years Day (1 January).

The LEZ, bus gates and bus lanes remain operational throughout.
