maybe a hot take but I personally love that you can play as nora in fallout 4 and that her background is being a lawyer. to me it makes for an even more interesting story. like an ex-lawyer taking on the wasteland and becoming a badass wiping out raider camps?? very fun narratively in my opinion
#Fallout4 decided to make the opening narration be by the male protagonist, locking him into canonically being the veteran, and the female protagonist into being… A lawyer.
Couldn’t have made which one was the combat-ready veteran dependent on which one the player chose to be, eh?
