Yeah man they ain’t coming back. This is going to be one of the biggest foreign policy blunders of my lifetime, and it’s entirely possible that some guy at ICE ordered it not having any clue what he was doing. This is why we used to leave foreign affairs to sensitive nerds.

If you had told me 30 years ago that Michael Luttig and Bill Kristol would have a clearer understanding about what's going on than a lot of Democratic leaders, I'd have wondered whether you tried the brown acid.
Luttig is communicating vastly more clearly and honestly about Roberts and Scotus than most Democratic officials are. It’s absolutely flabbergasting.

really feels like this point needs to be underlined again and again. the reason these stories have spread so well via social and standard media is virality. outrage and the algorithm are symbiotic; standard media then reports on viral topics as newsworthy
right-wing content mills spin up a self-feeding outrage machine, which is why their stories end up everywhere. Once you know the pattern, you can see it coming a mile away.
