ANY deal—short of magically erasing an entire trade deficit—will be illusionary. In a month or three our ‘dealmaker’ will have a “people say” episode, tear up the deal, and flip back to the full tariff. We are now the antithesis of a trading partner.
Wild to watch.

Obviously Ackman sucks but he’s far from the only one pushing this “just make a deal” stance, which is total garbage.

The tariffs are based on nothing.

There is no deal to be made; this is not a game theory situation it’s just a guy who doesn’t understand how stuff works.

Staggering that ten months after forcing the new app on customers, Sonos is still struggling with feature parity vs the old app.

At the time, I commented that whoever wrote the new app had never seen, much less used, a Sonos system.

It's fascinating watching Democratic Party politicians who are behaving as if careerism remains a viable strategy with a long-term future under authoritarianism when you are on the losing side.
