What if a US health plan mirrored Canada's public benefits?
We tried to design one: The "USA-Medicare Core" plan.
✅ $0 Deductible
✅ $0 Copay for Doctor Visits
✅ $0 Copay for Hospital Stays
❌ BUT... no Rx, dental, or vision coverage (just like Canada's core public system)

The future is now: The Giants are making first-round rookie QB Jaxson Dart their starter, per me and
Mike Garafolo.

After just a short stint starting and an 0-3 record, Russell Wilson heads to the bench. The Giants had a package of plays for Dart. Now, they’ll unleash it all.

With this timeline for 49ers QB Brock Purdy, he's likely to miss games against the Saints and Cardinals, at least. Then, his availability will be determined by how his rehab goes.

Unlike iPhone users, GrapheneOS users have been well protected by attacks from Cellebrite and other exploit development companies.

Apple talks a big game but consistently fails to protect their users against broadly deployed exploits used at a large scale.

Pixels have provided hardware memory tagging (MTE) support since the Pixel 8. GrapheneOS deployed it in production around a month after the launch of the Pixel 8 and we use it for the kernel and nearly the entire base OS. We use it for some third party apps and users can opt-in to using it for all.

We have early access to Android Security Bulletin patches and will be able to set up a workflow where we can have releases already built and tested prior to the embargo ending. For now, we've still been doing the builds after the embargo ends. It will mainly help when they screw up pushing to AOSP.

Trae Young is extension eligible. Atlanta reportedly wants to evaluate their new roster before inking Young to a new deal. That comes with a lot of risk, mostly for the Hawks.

For @spotrac.com's Next Contract Series, I looked at the options for Young and the Hawks:

Let’s say I convince everyone worth 100m or more , to sell every.thing they own, so that it’s all in cash. How much do you think that will be, what would you do with it and how long would it last ?
The way for things to change is you give your money away to people who actually need it and all your fellow ultra-wealthy friends to do same and if you won't do it willingly the state starts garnishing it in the form of high wealth taxes like we used to have in this country back when things worked.
Obviously what we have is not working. Obviously the way solving these issues have been tried in the past 10 yrs have rarely worked. IMO, it takes a new perspective.

So I'll keep putting things out there. All it takes is one good idea in the replies to open up a new path.

It's not about keeping insurance companies in business. The big insurance companies are the problem. Fixing HC is about how do we apportion risk and cost between patients , providers and taxpayers.
Has anyone proposed having the government cover whatever costs the health insurance companies won’t? That way, the insurance companies stay in business, and no out-of-pocket costs to consumer.

Do you think this site can survive with no revenue and a single demo ? For how long ? Or do you not care if it survives ? Just curious your perspective.

And I used to be the 4th most blocked !
You're also the 5th most blocked person here. This ain't your demo.

I'm assuming you're smart enough to know that being wealthy influences your perspective. This site is more welcome to Luigis perspective than yours. If you dismiss that as simply unintelligent, then you're just out of touch.
