I had to console and explain to students why people were racist (due to an incident outside of school) to them today. They asked me, crying, “Why does he (Trump) want people to hate us?” How do you comfort students in a country/world that puts a target on their back? 😔 #racism #teaching #advice

My crankiest belief is that we are now being sold on solutions to problems which only exist because we've let others convince us they exist. That is what "innovation" seems to be in 2025.
