No one will ever sum up Bari Weiss's career more succinctly than "what's the point of standards"
“Standards will be eliminated or severely cut back. Bari has told people that she wants to get rid of standards and is shocked that they have so much power. She asks ‘What’s the point of standards?’

Not at all.
First of all, we elect them.
Secondly, we'll see a good few in our lifetimes.
Thirdly, they represent Ireland's aspirations and spirit, which I very much appreciate.

So what? Each Bond character is a standalone character.
I never thought Craig's Bond was the same as Connery's or Moore's.
Weird.

James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

I love to know the logic of decisions. But for the life of me, I cannot figure out the logic behind the decision to not allow users make playlists in YouTube from content made for kids.
It really blows my mind.

Wondering why no one likes your posts anymore, even among your friends? It's because @jay.bsky.team and team have decided to hide a huge amount of content from all of our feeds by default.
