this is because, despite claims of being Politically Active, liberals pretty much only engage in politics by Consuming Media (and voting). the media was covering protests in terms of “how will this affect The Election?”, and that’s over, so they think the protests ended when the coverage did.
it really does make me sick me when US-brained liberals pretend gaza protests stopped after their election, implying people were only pretending to care about genocide to hurt biden & harris. there's big protests going on all the time, they just stopped paying attention
