Since #Texas rescinded the mandatory vehicle inspections, I have smelled some of the worst fumes coming from non-diesal cars of late. I suppose it's only a matter of time before said vehicles are smoking ruins on the side of the highway.

Today, I paid my local taxes (Property, car registration) only to get a text a moment ago that said "The IRS is open. You can file now."
Great. More taxes. I'm thrilled.

That awkward moment when the attractive woman at the Dollar store is making small talk during checkout. Is she interested in me? Or is she just friendly? Maybe just bored. When it comes to service workers, I assume the worst and don't make a move. No point in making it more awkward.
