apparently some gamers are upset about ciri being the protagonist of witcher 4. did they not play witcher 3? the ending i got had ciri becoming a witcher and one of the DLCs for witcher 3 was basically about geralt retiring to live on a vineyard

I’m a veteran of the Iraq war. Unfortunately, I served with a lot of right wing douches with a third-grade reading level, but this would make them (and me) big mad. If all they cared about before was their gun rights, wait until someone tries to take this from them.
As a veteran, I can tell you this: They have no f*cking idea of the backlash this would create. If they start taking away the promised benefits of people who are already depressed and pissed off 3/4 of the time...

Maybe I’m missing it, but I’m currently running #DnD Fortune’s Wheel from the Planescape book. Potential spoilers, but my folks are in Automata and we ended the session with them apprehending someone they were supposed to apprehend. (Multi-parter - sorry).

I think Elden Ring culture could be construed as toxic, but I can’t stop laughing on the subreddit whenever they’re roasting someone’s build or gameplay tactics. They are some funny people. To be clear, I’m usually no better than the people being roasted.

I also pretend to play guitar and am into Dayseeker, Sevendust, Spiritbox to name a few. I say pretend because I bought the Mike Stringer mixwave plugin, but have no idea how to get it and Ableton to talk. Apparently when you turn 40, your tech savvy score goes down by half.
