I have finally gotten the pathfinding to avoid making things lower in elevation as possible paths!
The debug is a bit messy but what you need to know is that the tiles that just say "a" are ones that are ignored. I am really happy with this :)

I am working on some flow field pathfinding which the enemies will use to chase the player in the main world. I dunno how optimized it is though.
(The lag spike is from updating the arrows and text not the algorithm)

I'm going to draw a pumpkin every day until Halloween, using whatever medium I can think of for the day.

Today's medium is the medium of deciding to do this at the end of the day so just drawing it in my sketchbook quickly 😅. I'm going to do pixel art tomorrow

I've been meddling even more with the fog in my game and I think I'm getting somewhere with this.

I've made the fog darker but fade into a grey around the edges and it's more chaotic than before (although I have lowered it since the screenshot)

I need to use this website more for just sharing when I post a video 😅. SO! Here is some footage of the hub area that I am making for my game.

At the moment, all it is, is a way to start the game and a fog of war to hide the fact that the world doesn't exist yet.

This week I did a ton. Fixed the Player animations, implemented the Skill Tree and THE SKILLS! There are:
- Health+: for more health
- Regen Shield: for a shield that regen overtime
- Adrenaline: for increased movement speed after being below 30% HP.
