If we are looking at intentional sabotage by Vance, the emerging world order is very different from what's being discussed.

Props to The Economist for their new cover.

We can hope that they'll have a tribute to The Usual Suspects in a future edition.

* Trump targets law firms that represent his enemies.
* Warrant for arrest of R-FL Cory Mills on assault charges ignored by US attorney.
* Trump posts AI video of "Trump Gaza".
* Trump plans to sell "gold card" for rich immigrants.

We're off to a great start this morning.

Spooky as fuck.
I think we might know where all the missing Dem ballots went

This is Ethan Shaotran. He's one of Musk's DOGE takeover hackers

2 yrs ago he won the Berkeley AI Hackathon

But in 2000 won the HackGT7 with a ballot altering program called BallotProof

Here's the deep dive that he couldn't scrub....

Yet again @morningjoe-msnbc.bsky.social, you're giving Trump free air time, for something as non-"breaking news" as a speech at the National Prayer Breakfast. Please learn from your mistakes.

I think now we can see that "USAID is evil and full of Marxists" really means "USAID was on the verge of blowing the lid off my Ukraine grift".

@morningjoe-msnbc.bsky.social for the love of God, stop talking about sports and the Grammys. These things do not matter right now.

I was flabbergasted by an immigrant coworker who, responding to my assertion that Trump will seek to go after critics and political enemies, asked "but I thought Trump announced freedom speech?" Now slowly peeling the layers of disinfo that this friend and his family have absorbed.

FBI Director Christopher Wray plans to step down from his role, rather than allowing Trump to fire him. Someone please make this make sense in a way that isn't depressing.

As if awakening from a dream, I remembered where The Bulwark came from, and was reminded that the enemy of my enemy is not (necessarily) my friend.
Democrats should spend exactly zero political capital stopping any Trump deportation efforts.

It is madness to spend capital trying to help people who are no longer a major part of your electoral coalition.

The thing is much of what they offered IS good. Obviously if you believe hosts like Hayes and Maddow are just "corporate media" without real investigative and analytical value, this won't connect with you -- but I think those voices are essential, and I haven't yet found a replacement in ind media.
MSNBC and CNN ratings are down 50% since the election. I believe when many of those people tune back in, it will be to independent media and Bluesky, not going back to the same old crap
