I am sorry, folks, but as far as political acumen goes, this suggests that your grasp exceeds your reach. So much for "indivisible," eh? Indivisible can be a force for bringing people on the left together to fight the move towards autocracy--it should not use its influence to divide the left.

My wife and I were able to spend most of December and January in Iceland a few years back (just before COVID). It was just magical, at least when the wind wasn't howling. Keep your tropical beaches...I'll take dark, quiet, and Jólakötturinn anytime.

We've seen it before, of course, but it's still a bit shocking to see him continuing to use this nonsense logic and litany of falsehoods right from his campaign speeches, as though they make any sense in the context of justifying real-world executive action.
