Like we all knew the folks who thought CARBON DATING was a lie.

They are now in charge of the CDC

“ABC11 spoke with Lori Lober, a study participant. Initially, she was given a grim prognosis, with median survival rate of less than 2 to 3% for five years. However, the trial at Duke Health gave her new hope. She has remained disease-free for 24 years.”

Neal Stephenson’s most excellent Baroque Cycle is free on Amazon Prime books. Possibly my favorite series of all time.

4,500 page deep dive into the Enlightenment (mostly from an English POV). Well researched historical fiction with just a touch of fantasy. 💕

Just so we're all clear who is being honored by this statue:

"Pike was personally chosen by Nathan Bedford Forrest to serve as the Klan's "Chief Judicial Officer" and to head the Klan in Arkansas as "Grand Dragon of that Realm."
Feels symbolic that a Confederate statue first installed in 1901, at the peak of the consolidation of the Jim Crow system—when the states of the former Confederacy were in the midst of revising their constitutions to disfranchise Black citizens—has been reinstalled.

This is the best political news I’ve seen in a very long time — so please pass it on👇

Each state can limit Citizens United in their own state & they don’t have to wait for other states to do it.
