Senators freeze Coast Guard admiral’s promotion over swastika, noose policy - The Washington Post. This nonsense must be stopped, and stopped now. Start by getting rid of Trump, he is mentally ill and has dementia, maybe the Alzheimers that killed his father. Brother died of alcoholism. Tainted

Almost no new jobs have been added since April and 710,000 more people are unemployed now compared to a year ago.

Meanwhile consumer prices are skyrocketing thanks to Trump's tariffs.

Does this sound like an "A+++++" economy to you?

The Trump administration said in a court filing yesterday that the WH ballroom construction project must continue for unexplained national security reasons.

Know what's a national security issue and fully explainable?
The health and economic status of our citizens. Get to work on that, assholes.

Our government made Musk a billionaire.

Musk was given billions of OUR tax dollars.

The House of Representatives passed H.R. 4371 today, which will subject unaccompanied immigrant children to invasive body searches, prolonged detention, and prevent their release to family or sponsors in the U.S.

Republicans are at war with everyone, including children.

Two people are murdered and this is how the president responds. Not with empathy or leadership, but with mockery and self-worship. It’s a moral abyss and he keeps digging. Anyone still defending this ethically bankrupt, frightened, sad little excuse for a man is telling you exactly who they are.

Under Trump:
- The economy has slowed, heading towards recession now
- Inflation is rising, most things cost more
- His cutting of energy subsidies is driving up utility prices
- He's taken 100s of billions from health care/food assistance in a war on working people
- He's making measles great again
A few points here:
- Over 300,000 jobs on average were created each month of Biden Presidency
- In the last 3 months of his Presidency the average was 203,000
- Only 64,000 jobs were created last month, and the unemployment rate has risen from 4 to 4.6 under Trump

This Trump thing ain't working.
Are we in a recession?

Perhaps. Maybe. Hard to tell.

The Sahm Rule focuses on the 3-month average unemployment rate, and asking if it's risen half a point above its year-long low.

The low was 4.0% in January.

The latest (average of Sept & Nov, with Oct missing): 4.5%.

That's +0.5%.
