In a fit of nostalgia I watched the pilot of #BattlestarGalactica '78. Such a weird mish-mash of BIBLICAL EPIC, Star Wars and daytime soap. The pacing is so choppy you'd swear it was an omnibus edit of five episodes. The credits and the opening Patrick Macnee narration are easily the best part.

A preview of an illustration for the forthcoming Final Fantasy gentlemen zine: Solaris. The preview depicts Cidolfus Telamon from FF16 and Cid Highwind lighting each other’s cigarette and cigar with lightning magic and a stick of dynamite, respectively. There are hints of explosions and airships poking through the frame against a rose-coloured sky behind them. Clues of other notable Cids from the Final Fantasy franchise are apparent as well.
