Since I’m in journalism I didn’t go home for the holidays early in my career; now I still don’t - I would rather visit when I don’t have to deal with the holiday stress and I love having Thanksgiving in New York

I went to a great used bookstore the other day and they had an entire shelf of crossword dictionaries. I didn’t know such a thing existed! Phones really did ruin culture.

More important to me than my identity, I am also the Vice President of the NewsGuild of New York, and targeting me with a blatantly retaliatory termination like this feels like an egregious shot against our union and against media workers as a whole.
