a nice thing about when the internet was a bunch of little sites and servers was that it was a lot harder for governments to pressure "the chat provider everyone uses" to implement age verification.

This is just good disability advocacy, game companies. Essential tremor? Disable the weird button presses and missable QTEs. Customize parry windows so we can actually parry even when the tremor half presses a button.
More games should have a cowardly baby mode. More games should let me suffer less consequences for dying or mistakes. Should have a "I just want the story" mode. Games should not pride themselves on "look how difficult we are".
