20 years ago this week, Sony announced its very last CRTs. Sony bowed out with a 34-inch 16:9 high-def model and three conventional 4:3 models, at 27, 32, and 36 inches. #retrocomputing #retrogaming dfarq.homeip.net/the-last-son...

These chips are starting to go bad in the Powerbook Duo line... causing gray screens with no cursor, or no SCSI power-up. No idea how to fix this unfortunately, the ROM hasn't been dumped, and we do not know the actual chip part number that isn't customized by Apple.

Trying to prepare for this upcoming storm, i got screwed out of my generator and nobody has stock anywhere so it looks like i'm going to have to ride this storm the hard way... Did a generator order yesterday on pickup. Got there, of course wouldn't fit in the car.

Anybody happen to have a Mac Quadra 700/900/950 and willing to run a simple Apple Sound Chip tester app I made and tell me the results? I'm curious about the behavior of the EASC. I'm trying to improve emulator behavior, but I don't have any of those models to test. github.com/dougg3/ASCTe...
