I’ve seen a LOT from SNCF but they just like to surprise me. Their app CONNECT shows vastly different prices for the same train depending on if you’re inside France or not (flex prem stays the same)

Der letzte Satz macht es so absurd. Man ist nicht bereit, Geld auszugeben, um Klimawandel gezielt entgegenzuwirken (von verhindern redet ja gar keiner).
Aber man ist sich einig dass man den Folgen des Klimawandels dann Geld hinterherwerfen muss.

Ich freue mich natürlich, dass der #Nachtzug Berlin–Paris offenbar vor der Rettung steht.
Aber dass wir so ein Bohei um *einen einzelnen* Zug machen, zeigt auch, was für eine krasse Nische das eigentlich ist. (Nichts gegen Nischen, Nischen sind toll.)

Late to the party, der neue DSB-Zug Kopenhagen-Hamburg mit *stufenlosem Einstieg*… aber was wenn ich euch sage, dass von Kopenhagen nach Hamburg an *checks notes* GENAU EINEM BAHNHOF (Hamburg Hbf) stufenloser Einstieg möglich ist und an allen anderen bis zu 50 cm (!!) Höhenunterschied?

It's the #Karlsruhe Stadtbahn. It runs tram-trains, in this metro region in #Germany of 310,000.
Outside town, they run as standard commuter trains. Inside town, they operate as trams (streetcars)—no need to change mode.
