I don't know if I have any concrete thoughts about all this, I kinda just wanted to see if typing out my thoughts would give them some sort of order and coherency. I don't know if it did, but here we are.

But streaming is a performance mode that means it's not just a chill evening watching football with my husband, and I like those evenings. And my real life commitments mean that my streaming schedule isn't at all consistent. Maybe I go to a just whenever I feel like it kind of thing?

I enjoy streaming. I've put some money into a good mic and the visuals for my setup, and I really do think that the past 2.5ish years of streaming have helped me not be quite so shy and awkward when talking to people I don't know in real life.

If it's just me, what's the difference between streaming and just playing a game for myself? Weeks like this one when I have something Monday evening and Wednesday evening and then streaming Tuesday and Thursday and then some weekends I'm gone. That doesn't leave much decompress time.
