The most important thing to remember about all this fantasy-engineering of the Constitution is Madison's warning: If we suck as a people, no clever constitutional schemes will save us.

Happy painting and God bless.
The first three of 30 paintings sold in Los Angeles for a record-shattering $662,000. The rest will go up for auction in various cities throughout 2026, beginning with Boston in January. Ross painted many of them live on his PBS show.

This is an incredibly busy business. Now that this proud patriot has had a significant number of their employees kidnapped, I hope he and his compatriots in the BU College Republicans all step up to take those jobs.

Pretty much all affordability discourse could benefit from just posting this chart.

If you're in the better off America, all the luxury goods you want in excess are for the most part much cheaper. If you're in the poorer America, most of the shit you need to live/grow is more expensive.

Oh no, I lived by this very busy car wash for years.
"Many of them, he said, held legal status, but were unable to immediately produce their documentation to the agents.

“Some people left their property, their work permits in their lockers here,” [their boss] said. “I could bring it to them and get them released. But I don’t know where they are.”"
With all the excitement about the election I don’t want this story to get lost. This morning 8 car wash workers in Boston were kidnapped by federal agents in the largest workplace raid in the area in recent memory.

The details are horrifying.

I just did this too and if enough people set up recurring monthly donations at GBFB, they have a donor that will match!
Hey all, food insecurity is expected to rise dramatically this fall & winter. I’ve just set up monthly donations with my local food banks (that’s GBFB and Project Bread here in Boston), and you can, too! Or make a one-time donation if that works better for you (money is better than goods)!

It is pretty great having many of Boston's departments and teams active on Bluesky. The difference in engagement speaks for itself and it's all around a great addition to our city's social media toolkit.

All official accounts are available in this starterpack: bsky.app/starter-pack...
@boston.gov onboarded all their agencies to Bluesky to engage with Bostonians. Whether it's broken sidewalks, missing signage, or community issues, they want to hear from constituents. With little to no engagement on X, their actual interactions on bsky have increased. Engagement > follower count
