Any Palestinian who thinks they have to "give it to Candace owens" is a useful idiot. Yes yes lets align with the far right at a time when the issue is essentially mainstreamed in normal circles. I wonder who benefits from this re-alignment

Wondering why no one likes your posts anymore, even among your friends? It's because @jay.bsky.team and team have decided to hide a huge amount of content from all of our feeds by default.

Here's how to turn it off.

Democrats know what wins campaigns but to build a better world would require moving away from assembling with supremacy, patriarchy, capitalism, etc. you can’t assemble with systemic oppression and liberation, no matter how much you lie to yourself. Are y’all not tired of worshipping capitalism?

Long-ish read but super essential. The inability for the Western Left to stand in solidarity with the Syrian Revolution presents a rupture that is still widening. There needs to be a reckoning if we're ever to build a real, tangible internationalism.

What is unfolding in Sudan, where the armed group RSF has taken control of the key city of El Fasher, is "the sum of all our fears," says human rights investigator Nathaniel Raymond. "RSF is killing at a scale and a velocity that I haven’t seen since Rwanda."

Just released another video on Sudan. This is directed at people who've been horrified by the capture of al-Fasher and the massacres by the RSF militia, but don't know enough about Sudan, who are a bit late to the game (but its fine, its better late than never).

I think Manufacturing Consent is now largely an irrelevant model for Trump's regime. They aren't even trying to build a case, or convince anyone of anything, they are just doing what they want. Full-on, brazen imperialist violence.
Department of Defense officials told Democratic lawmakers in a brief on the U.S. military’s strikes against boats off the coast of northern South America that the military is not identifying the occupants of the boats before they bomb them. The Trump administration has killed at least 61 people.

a campaigns closing message is “he might kill you but you should vote for him” is insane and i’m pretty convinced zohran will easily clear 50% of the vote at this point

I go to a 6 am gym class and on my way back there were folks already lined up outside our local food pantry. Four people who looked in their 70s — among them a man listening to the radio about the Mets. They pushed carts ahead of them.
I just don’t think we’re freaking out enough about this SNAP cut. I have spent my whole career working with people who rely on SNAP for food. People who work multiple jobs. Who have kids. What do you think happens when 1/8th of the population can’t buy food anymore? Everything is going to collapse.
