This is the first Thanksgiving for Sophie & Colin Hortman without their parents, Minnesota state Rep. Melissa Hortman and Mark Hortman who were assassinated along with the family dog in an act of political murder. National guards troops were not deployed to the state in response.

Today there was an attempted ICE raid in Bensonhurst & community members showed up. Even though NYPD collaborated with ICE by trying to disburse the crowd; community members stood their ground & ICE left without kidnapping a single person per the rapid response groups I'm on. We protect us!

Mitch McConnell is singularly responsible for the shape we’re in. I won’t mourn his death when it comes. He used his nearly unprecedented power for his own interests and not the country’s. However, he most assuredly did have that power. The race for his seat, on the other hand, is simply pathetic.
