Western Canada, you need to learn about the Hectate Strait and why it matters.
Green Party of Canada 🇨🇦 -
Fact check: No, U.S. oil tankers do not pass through the Hecate Strait. Elizabeth May shows exactly why the tanker ban exists, and why protecting it matters. #cdnpoli

Lets face it, this is a good day for oil companies, businesses, and those in the oil sector. Its a bad day for the environment and for reconciliation with Indigenous nations whose lands this thing will go over. As Blanchet stated, this is the official end of Canada's climate commitments.

When the toll of war becomes your normal.
Nothing wakes you up quite like walking down the stairs of tall apartment building first thing in the morning because rolling blackouts are on . On a bright side - thanks Russia for my cardio !

Saskatoon Hospitals have been in crisis mode and this problem isnt going away.

The Sask Party have done nothing to make sure Saskatoon City Hospital wont close early again, and they have no plan to extend the already limited hours.

We need a better plan. Give us your thoughts at yourcareyoursay.ca

The “surplus” was a myth. And this deficit would be twice as high but for SK continuing to collect the industrial carbon tax.
You had one job, sir: balance the books.
Time to make way for some new blood.
[Subtext: your fiscal framework never changes and will always draw deficits. That’s why we change govts.]

Last night, Russia killed 25 people in Ternopil.

Just one night. Fifty missiles. Five hundred drones.

This is the Ukrainian reality we should never forget.

These are the strains under which the Ukrainian people reform & build their future in the European Union.

All of the windows in my cousin’s apartment were blown out in this attack. She has 2 young children. They consider themselves lucky because they survived while many of their friends and neighbours didn’t.

War in real time.
The morbid perks of social media: you can watch our cities being bombed, in real time. Like this missile hitting apartment building in Ternopil. Feeling like a character in a war reality show that I never agreed to be part of

The murder of Ukrainians by Russia continues to this day.
Holodomor Remembrance Day is important to all of Ukrainian Heritage.

Today we remember not only what our Ukrainian ancestors endured, but the fight that is ongoing.

Ternoplil is a lovely city. My family’s village is just outside of it. I was there, walking along the lake, eating at a street fair celebrating Independence Day, just 7 years ago. Now Russia is murdering children there.

Video of Russia bombing my home city 💔 Kyiv tonight.

It’s a very special type of torture the excruciating seconds that you watch that light burn in dark sky holding your breath somehow hoping it will just stop in time and not fall just not fall
