I'm working hard at securing a new job. A office administrative role that is structured, at a non-profit, no travel required, hybrid model, management and staff practice inclusion of all humans, there is diversity of genders and abilities, and where all forms of workplace violence is not tolerated.

It takes them decades to wake up and take action. They have to feel personally uncomfortable and find the violence "relatable" before they speak up.
They aren't speaking up against injustice for you, they are protesting for their entitlement to feel comfortable.
