Philly street festivals are shutting down over rising police overtime costs. But some groups don’t have to pay.
Philly elected officials, police-connected groups, and street festival organizers who cut special deals are exempt from tens of thousands dollars in city event fees inked to street festivals.

All in all...a phenomenal first 10 games for the Sixers.
Despite getting nothing from PG and part-time play from Jo they're 5th in offense, 10th in net rating, and three of their four losses came down to the final possession.
The schedule will stiffen...but this looks like a good team at minimum.

We’ve got a Dominick Barlow sighting at practice (sitting on the sideline not doing on-court work). He is wearing a cast/brace thing that basically takes up his entire arm.

Update: As of ~2 p.m., there is now $2.8 million in reported independent expenditures on the Supreme Court retention elections. That's $1.2 million more since we first published. Much of it is digital ads from pro-retention groups.
