all fair. if you're looking for hope...teams are still getting to the rim *way* less when Jo's on the floor and shooting *way* worse when they get there.

yeah for me it's all about Joel. they can't be a contending-level defense without him.
strangely his on/off numbers were *elite* on defense as recently as last season. but it's possible that was all reputation and teams have finally realized how much you can attack him

The funny thing about the South Philly Columbus statue controversy is that across the street there’s a whole plaza dedicated to a proud fascist. And the dedication of this plaza happened *during* Mussolini’s reign of terror. And I don’t think I’ve ever heard a peep about it

Penn State trustees rejected a deal to transfer the university's public media outlet (WPSU) to WHYY. As a result WPSU will shut down.
One trustee said he was upset the deal didn't guarantee employment for all WPSU staff.
And so he voted for a scenario that guarantees they'll lose their jobs.
