I’m currently actively working on trying to leave the U.S. in a 1-2 year timeframe, but I think if antidepressants get outlawed or whatever I’m activating the emergency plan and fleeing. It’s already hard to get mental healthcare on Medicaid but I do know what I’m like off my meds & it’s not good

so I’ve been doing sort of a loose Dry January & haven’t had alcohol in 3 weeks (yay!). Decided to allow myself a drink tonight to celebrate completing a stressful gig & now im feeling buzzed off half a 5% ABV cider 🥲🥲

so over the last 2 days for work reasons I had to drive a minivan in and around Manhattan, for several hours. And I survived!! I did it!! I even parallel parked!! I feel invincible actually

You do not have to consume every single tiny piece of bad news in order to be a good person. It’s ok to miss things. Traumatizing yourself isn’t the same as activism. Bearing witness to the point that you’re paralyzed with fear and horror and fury isn’t going to help us get through this.
Remember their goal is to terrorize us. And social media is a fantastic way to spread terror. We don’t have to help them.
Based on the vibes of my timeline today I’m feeling like the next two weeks are probably gonna be a really good time to reduce social media use as much as possible. Because YIKES.
