There’s a direct line from ‘just asking questions about women’s sports’ to criminalizing our health care, we warned you it was coming, you said it would be fine and you just had a few more questions.

Ken Paxton has launched a snitch line to gather reports of supposed violations of Texas' transphobic bathroom policing law. Please do not abuse this snitch line. Please do not fill it with faff and nonsense. Please do not attach huge, unwieldy and irrelevant documentation to any reports.

They're using the confinement box, one of the most horrific methods of CIA torture in the post-9/11 black sites, against migrants now. This is the direct result of the lack of consequences for the architects of the torture program. Either there will be criminal penalties for this or it will expand.

Amnesty International, interviewing migrant detainees, identifies use of the confinement box. There can be no denying it is a torture prison

Not often that a pre-order announcement comes along that feels tailor made to my interests, but the intersection of Autechre and finger picked guitar by Shane Parish is right there. From the inimitable Palilalia records, and label boss Bill Orcutt.

The thing about useful idiots in professional spaces is that the whole game, from the perspective of the fascist, is to constantly game them into taking ”innocuous” positions on any given day’s culture war issue, thus forcing them to perpetually conflict with everything left of the fascists.

Germ Lattice take the energy of a spinning top moments from collapse, pluck it out of time like they're saving it from Lavos, and preserve it for the length of an EP. The sound of ramshackle instruments and yawns shoved back into the mouth may concern or annoy people close to you, but it's worth it!

When police accuse protesters of being "professional agitators," remember—

Police are unscrupulous mercenaries who assault anyone they are ordered to in return for a paycheck.

Protesters who stand up to police are doing so for free, at tremendous risk to themselves, as a service to the public.
St. Paul police brutally assault locals defending their neighbors from ICE, then absurdly accuse the locals of being "professional agitators."

"We are not your adversary. We are your police."

They support ICE with violence, just as they murder with impunity. They are, in fact, our adversaries.
